The Advantages of Traveling

The Advantages of Traveling
Traveling broadens the mind like nothing else. When I visited Japan, I learned about omotenashi (hospitality), witnessed a tea ceremony, and ate sushi fresh from the fish market. Traveling breaks stereotypes: before visiting Mexico, I thought everyone ate tacos daily, but I discovered diverse regional cuisines. It also teaches adaptability—when my flight was canceled in Italy, I had to navigate train schedules and practice my broken Italian. Most importantly, travel shows that despite cultural differences, humans share common hopes: everyone wants to be happy and safe. Now, I keep a travel journal with ticket stubs and photos, each reminding me that the world is a classroom without walls.
